Humanitarian Efforts
If the poor have at times starved to death, it is not because God does not care for them; rather, it is because you and I have refused to give them food. We have not been instruments of love in God’s hands so that He can give them bread or offer them clothing.
If we want poverty to disappear, we must share what we have. A gentleman once asked Mother Teresa, “What must we do to eliminate poverty from India?” She replied, “We need to learn to share with the poor.” Sharing with the poor and helping them in their need is something that God demands from us.
Understanding the plight of the people Sathyam / Truth Ministries has been trying to reach as many people as possible as messengers of God.
Recently Sathyam / Truth Ministries, in association with the Whittier Area Community Church (WACC) in the USA, distributed approximately 33,000 food packets containing rice, carrots, soya flour, onions, and other nutritious foods to various groups in India. These included the Reang tribe, villages in Andhra Pradesh, slums in Mumbai and Calcutta, the Sathyanikethan Orphanage in Gujarat, and the Sathyanikethan Disability Center in Kerala.
